He studied under mentors with more than a collective century of experience and combines the knowledge of generations of trade experience with the limitless boundaries of your imagination. Aaron often draws large Polynesian style, American Traditional, Tribal & background tattoos directly onto the skin, while many designs will be drawn on paper first, so you can see exactly what you’re going to get before starting. Whether you like historical American traditional tattoo flash, custom drawn tattoos in black & grey, Japanese, blackwork, minimalist, lettering, drawn by you, or tribal, Aaron is happy to meet with you any day Tuesday thru Saturday to discuss your project. Walk-ins are often possible for small work, and large work has short wait times. Aaron co-owns Calamity Jane’s Tattoo & Piercing with his wife, Jacinta. Together with their daughter, they live with a menagerie of cats, dogs, chickens & fish; enjoy being outdoors on the Mesa or in the river, anywhere in our beautiful state; he paints traditional tattoo flash & enjoys all things tattoo history; and has seen Forrest Gump over 350 times.
